Harriet Whitbread jog-trots past on
the duckwalk, bouncing a volleyball.
The analyst isnât a moral instructor,
a life coach, a priest, or an agony aunt.
No one can come to the phone right now.

the task is to love them. As simple as that.
In a blizzard of signs, in an ambush of furs,
she pays out her line through a hole in the ice.
